A project derived from the eco-fantasy stage musical adventure called
THE RAINBOW’S CHILD
THE RAINBOW’S CHILD is a concept devised and developed by author-composer. Rexleigh Bunyard. It is based on her stage musical script, lyrics and music of the same name, copyright-protected by DALRO.
The original eco-fantasy concept hinges on the highly accessible music which conveys ecological fantasy themes, outlined through creature and human characters within the original storyline, and/or shorter stories derived from this concept utilising selected characters.
Meet the creator behind the concept
REXLEIGH BUNYARD
Rexleigh holds B.Mus (Cum Laude) and M.Mus degrees in music from the University of Cape Town, a Diplome Superieur d’Execution from the Ecole Normale in Paris, France and a D.Mus in Composition from the University of Pretoria.
She currently teaches music at Roedean school, Parktown, Johannesburg.
The Rainbow’s Child is licensed to RFTL (Requiem for the Living) NPO, a tax exempt Public Benefit Organisation (under Sections 10 and 18A), which administers humanitarian and arts-in-service-of-community initiatives.
